Opportunities Amidst Challenges | Jan 2021

Welcome 2021! Hopefully your holiday season was joyful, restful, and memorable. This year will bring new challenges and we are ready to tackle them head on. The word “Growth” is ever present in our minds as an agency. We want to help clients grow by providing new skills, resources, relationships, and opportunities through our programs and team members. We never expect perfection but hope for growth which results in lasting change, stronger people, and a more unified family.

When a client is in our counseling services, they are receiving more than just therapy. Our trained and extremely competent counselors are helping clients overcome fears, internal struggles, and relational issues. Some of the successes are hard to measure. What isn’t on the “score sheet'' is the client’s newly found confidence going into a job interview after struggling with steady employment for years, or a person’s crippling anxiety which prevented meaningful relationships is now thriving with strong, social ties to family and friends. These are all areas in which our team of counselors are helping to fulfill our mission of promoting the well being of individuals and families. Family Service is uniquely positioned in Chester County to impact our community in real and lasting ways.

Lastly, we want to thank every single person from the bottom of our hearts for supporting the year end giving campaign. Family Service is grateful for each and every gift we received. These gifts help ensure a legacy of hope in our community. We were blown away by the response to our gift drive too! Over 100 families received gifts for the holiday season. Your contributions are making a lasting impact.
