Anticipated Opening for Bilingual School-Based Therapist

Family Service of Chester County is anticipating the need for a Master's level therapist for our School-Based Therapy program for the 2026-2027 school year. Our school-based therapists work within the Kennett Consolidated School District, providing individual and group therapy, supporting assessments and IEPs, and collaborating with school staff and community partners.

This is a salaried position with benefits. Weekly individual and group supervision will be provided, with the opportunity to receive clinical supervision for additional licensure. The School-Based Therapists' schedule follows the school calendar, with summers off, or with the possibility of additional work during the five-week Extended School Year (ESY).

We are looking for an individual who is energetic, motivated, and enthusiastic about helping underserved individuals and families through psychotherapy. Candidates must have a Master’s in Social Work, with an LSW, LCSW, or LPC. Must have strong clinical skills and must be bilingual (Spanish-English). Experience working with young children and adolescents is highly preferred. Must be comfortable collaborating within a team and with school and community partners. Experience working in schools is a plus!

Case Manager

Full job description
Family Service of Chester County is looking for a full time Case Manager to deliver culturally sensitive interventions designed to reduce the risk of child abuse and keep families intact in Chester County. Our team works directly with low income, at-risk families in a voluntary program, which allows them to address tangible, short term needs (food, clothing, shelter) and help create an action plan for long term family goals (higher education, better employment, better housing). Case Managers help ensure the safety of family members, empower the adults in the family to properly care for their children, and prevent out of home placement of these children. This position requires work in our West Chester, PA office, as well as in the homes and communities of the Chester County families we serve. A Bachelor’s Degree with experience in Social Work, Human Services or Counseling is required. Bilingual/Spanish-speaking preferred.
