Job Title: Case Manager

Location: West Chester, PA

Job Type: Full-time, Salaried with Benefits

Program: Exchange Club Family Center

Job Description:

Family Service of Chester County is looking for a full time Case Manager to deliver culturally sensitive interventions designed to reduce the risk of child abuse and keep families intact. Our team works directly with low income, at-risk families in a voluntary program, which allows them to address tangible, short term needs (food, clothing, shelter) and help create an action plan for long term family goals (higher education, better employment, better housing, etc). Case Managers help ensure the safety of family members, empower the adults in the family to properly care for their children, and prevent out of home placement of these children. This position requires work in our West Chester, PA office, as well as in the homes and communities of the Chester County families we serve. A Bachelor’s Degree with experience in Social Work, Human Services or Counseling is preferred. Bilingual/Spanish-speaking preferred.

Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday
  • 8 hours daily

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Social Work or related field.
  • Strong clinical skills.
  • Minimum 2 years experience working with children or adolescents.
  • Comfortable working in a team setting.
  • Experience working in schools preferred.
  • Spanish-language skills preferred.

Pay: $43,000.00 - $46,000.00 per year

Family Service of Chester County has training affiliations with several area graduate schools and undergraduate social work programs, including Bryn Mawr College, Widener University, and West Chester University. Internships include:

  • Counseling
  • Case management for child abuse prevention
  • Nonprofit development (grants writing, fundraising, web writing)
